Hailing from the Williamsport area, THE BLIND CHITLIN KAHUNAS are two-time International Blues Challenge Semi-Finalists, selected twice as one of the 100 best blues bands from around the world. JACK’S MOUNTAIN BLUES FESTIVAL makes welcome their third consecutive return to the stage this year.

A masterful band of highly talented, riff-driven, veteran musicians and longtime friends, THE KAHUNAS feature the superlative talents of guitarist and vocalist CHRIS BOVARD, supreme bassist and vocalist KIM “KIMBO” REICHLEY, savvy keyboardist WEBB KLINE, and in-the-pocket drummer and vocalist JOEL B. VINCENT, rocking behind the kit. Together, the 120 years of combined musical experience of this balls-to-the-wall, blues-funk infusion band has created their own brand of KAHUNAS blues, making their cover songs sound original and their original music sound like familiar hits.

THE BLIND CHITLIN KAHUNAS have opened shows for or shared stages with the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tower Of Power, Chris Duarte, The Nighthawks, Levon Helm, Smokin’ Joe Kubek, Tab Benoit, Hubert Sumlin, Corky Siegel, David Johanssen, Otis Taylor, Ann Rabson and many, many others.
